Sean Scully Studio

This Chelsea art studio, designed for renowned painter Sean Scully, was once a derelict tire repair shop. It was reimagined to include a sixty by forty foot studio space, offices, archives and a drawing room. The building’s facade was rebuilt as a wall of blue glazed block, with diffused light streaming in through translucent panels in the arched roof.
